7 Songs You Should Listen To Pt.2

So in todays post, i thought i would share with you some more songs that i have been loving at the minute. These songs aren't your generic chart songs but they sure are good ones, at least in my opinion. I hope you enjoy...

Alessia Cara - Stars
You may have seen me mention Alessia Cara on my latest music post but she is one of my favourite artists in the industry at the moment. As soon as i first heard the song 'Stars' i immediately fell in love with it and how raw and emotional the lyrics are. The song actually helped me through a pretty bad time a couple of months ago as well as i felt extremely connected to the lyrics. I still love this song to this day and you should really give it a listen.

Selena Gomez - Perfect
I have grown up listening to Selena Gomez since she was on Disney and i honestly think her latest album is her best by far. As the album states, this is the "Revival" of Selena and the song 'Perfect' is a great example of that. The song has an infectious beat and shows how Selena has changed from her Pop days, with the song having a bit of an Indie and Alternative twist. This is my favourite song off her album and i recommend you hear it.

Kamau Ft. No Wyld - Jusfayu
I am in LOVE with this song right now, it has to be one of my favourites at the moment. The song is completely acapella with the only thing not coming from their mouths being their hands clapping and it 100 percent works. The artist, who i didn't know before hearing this song, has an amazing and unique voice and i genuinely believe that if the song was made by an artist who was considered popular, it would be a number 1 single!

John Newman - Ole
Before this song i never liked John Newman as i thought his voice was quite screechy and annoying but this song is completely different. I like the laid-back approach that John Newman has taken on this song as it makes the listener feel really relaxed. The song was also produced and written by Calvin Harris which i found weird as it hasn't got an uptempo beat like his usual music; it was also written about Taylor Swift before the two broke up.

Little Mix - The End
Say what you like about Little Mix but i genuinely think they have brilliant voices (especially Perrie) and this song proves that. 'The End' is an acapella song which really showcases their brilliant vocals and their harmonies. This is one of my favourite songs of theirs and when i saw the girls live back in March, the song was even better as you saw the girls reach the really high and low notes that you wouldn't expect. I really think you should give this one a listen.

Shawn Mendes - Three Empty Words
Before i wasn't the biggest Shawn Mendes fan but since hearing some of the songs from his upcoming album, i have fallen in love with him, even buying tickets to see him in June next year! I am loving the new direction that Shawn is going in with the majority of the songs on the album just Shawn and maybe one or two instruments and the song 'Three Empty Words' is simply just Shawn and his guitar which i love. I think this really proves what he can do in terms of his voice and i hope the rest of the album is as good when its released.

Rudimental Ft. MNEK & Sinead Harnett - Baby
Last but not least, we have a song that is actually a couple of years old now. I stumbled across 'Baby' when i was looking through some of MNEK's songs on Spotify and i really think it is one of his best. Being just 18 at the time of recording the song, MNEK and his collaborator Sinead Harnett show some seriously good vocals and then when its accompanied by one of Rudimental's infectious beats it becomes even better. This song is definitely worth a listen.

I really recommend you add any of these songs to your playlist as they are truly worth a little listen. I hope you enjoyed...
