The 5 Best Albums Released So Far This Year...

Today i thought i would let you guys on on what, in my opinion, are the best albums released so far this year. These are all albums that i have been listening to non-stop this year and i hope you give these a listen too...

5. Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman
I have always been a pretty big fan of Ariana's since she was on Nickelodeon and you can't deny she has an unbelievable range and a great voice. With her massive vocals that are good enough to rival nearly everyone in todays music industry, it would've been hard for her to make a bad album and i honestly think this is her best album yet. On her third studio album, Ariana Grande decided to mix her pop image with a little bit of edm and rap on her songs. In particular, her song Be Alright is amazing as it features both her incredible vocals and an amazing beat alongside it. You should give it a listen if you haven't already.

4. Frank Ocean - Blonde
If you've read my previous music post, you'll know that i am in LOVE with Frank Ocean and all of his music and his new album Blonde is definitely not a disappointment. I find all of this album so calming and peaceful and it also puts me in an amazing mood. If i had to say one song to listen to, i probably couldn't so I'm gonna say three. Firstly, theres Ivy which i actually mentioned in my most recent music post (look at that post to see my views on that song), theres White Ferrari which is probably the most calming song on the album, and finally theres Solo which is incredible as all of Frank Ocean's songs are as it makes you want to sing-a-long. You should really try and listen to the album though...

3. Drake - Views
Before about a year ago, i wasn't a fan of Drake and didn't really listen to his music. Then i got recommended some of his music from my friend and now I'm hooked on his music. His latest album Views is an incredible album, well it must be to be above Frank Ocean & Ariana Grande, and i leaves you not wanting to skip a single song. My two favourites on the album are Controlla (which like Ivy is featured on my previous music post) and Childs Play which is really catchy and unordinary. This album will make you fall in love with the rap genre.

2. Alessia Cara - Know It All
Alessia Cara is the one person on this list that you may never heard of as she is an up and coming artist. I first started listening to her after stumbling across her music on YouTube and i immediately fell in love. Her voice is both incredible and unique and she is a really unappreciated artist in todays industry. This album is an album that will make you feel happy and energetic but also an album that will make you feel her emotions and put you in her shoes. My favourite songs on the album are Outlaws as it feels very soulful and almost Amy Winehouse-esque and Stars which is extremely emotional and actually helped me through a hard time in my life not so long ago; Alessia Cara is someone that you should really try and listen to!

1. Beyonce - Lemonade
At number one, who else would it be but Beyonce. Beyonce is my idol and i value her work ethic highly, doing whatever she can to be successful. Her sixth studio album Lemonade is a piece of art with a cryptic and mysterious film connecting the songs together. This album may even be my favourite album of hers as like Alessia Cara's album is is both energetic/happy and very emotional. Another reason why i like this record is the fact that it was a complete surprise (like Frank Ocean's, even though i forgot to mention it), making all of the hype around the album escalate massively. My two favourites on the album have to be Daddy Lessons as it makes me want to sing-a-long and Sandcastles as it is another emotional and heartfelt song. This album is one-of-a-kind though and you should really check it out.

So i hope you enjoyed this post and if you do have a spare couple of hours, make sure you try and listen to these brilliant albums.
