Artist Showcase : Avery Wilson

Hello and welcome to another "Artist Showcase" post on this blog. Before I start though, I would just like to apologise for not uploading last Friday because I was incredibly ill (and I'm still a bit 'under the weather' today). Anyways, today's post is based on an artist with a truly unbelievable voice whom I actually got to speak to in a livestream not so long ago; his name is Avery Wilson.

Avery Wilson (born July 18th 1995) is an American singer-songwriter who rose to fame five years ago when he appeared on The Voice. Since then, he started uploading videos onto the internet via several media platforms including Vine and Facebook. Alongside this, the singer has released a small number of singles with a highly-anticipated album in the making.

The reason why I love Avery Wilson so much is because I think he honestly has one of the best voices around these days. The 21-year-old has a falsetto which seems unachievable to some and his transition from his normal voice to it is so smooth that it could make anyone jealous. He also manages to get so much emotion out through his lyrics which you can really sense when listening to his single "If I Have To" which is so touching and pleasing to the the ears, listen to it below...

What made be fall in love with Avery Wilson was his covers and how he had the power to completely make the song his own! With his unbelievable voice he can make any song great but trust me, his covers are in a completely different league in comparison to many others. Throughout his time on Vine, he managed to amass quite a lot of incredible six second covers which you all need to listen to, hence why I am going to attach a compilation of him which I suggest you watch all of as yet again, his voice needs to be heard!

Although he has gained a fairly high following in the states, he is virtually unknown in the UK and he really need to be listened to as a voice like his cannot go to waste. I also got to speak to him in a livestream which was a surreal moment for me but he was so nice, meaning not only his voice is amazing, his personality is too so give Avery Wilson some love.

So I hope you enjoyed this Artist Showcase post telling you about yet another incredible artist, expect more of these very month as there are so many awesome artists out there that need to be discovered!

My Vinyl Collection

In today's blogpost I thought I would switch things up a little and discuss my vinyl collection with all of you. I brought my first vinyl in about August last year and since then I have built up quite a collection, hence why I am writing this blogpost in order to share them with you (disclaimer : not all of my vinyls will be featured in this post, just those which I love the most). I hope you enjoy and let me know if you would like to see a sequel of this post in the future.

Sam Smith - In The Lonely Hour (Drowning Shadows Edition)
What better way to start this blogpost off than with the very first vinyl that I brought. In my opinion, Sam Smith is one of the best artists of this generation and he is honestly such a musical role model of mine. His voice is so soothing which really shows on this 4-sided vinyl! Another reason why I love this vinyl is because it features not only his "In The Lonely Hour" album but also several covers including "How Will I Know" which was featured in one of my "7 Songs You Should Listen To" posts before. This is a truly magnificent vinyl which I think you all need to get and here is a little taster of it to hopefully get you interested.

Beyonce - B'Day
Next up we have my favourite ever artist and a vinyl which is actually really hard to get! Ever since I first brought my turntable, I have always wanted a Beyonce vinyl but it wasn't until I looked online that I realised how hard they are to buy! Anyways, my sister managed to grab this vinyl on Ebay of all places and I was lucky enough to receive it for Christmas. Beyonce's voice is just unbelievable and it sounds even better on vinyl! With a mix of upbeat songs and powerful ballads, this is a vinyl that I would thoroughly recommend and to show you how good it is, I'm going to show you one of my favourite songs on the record ("Resentment") below...

Stevie Wonder - Hotter Than July
If you read my blog before you'll know that the 'Motown' era is one of my favourite musical eras of all time and Stevie Wonder is one of the era's most successful artists ever, obviously meaning I am a massive fan of his! I must say, this album is one of his best and it is filled with several incredible songs that are guaranteed to make you feel good! In particular, "Master Blaster" is my favourite song as it always makes you want to sing-along as well as bop along just like the rest of the album. You can listen to the song below in the hope that you will listen to the rest of this incredible album!

Bruno Mars - 24k Magic
The fourth record in this post is the newest record in this post! Bruno Mars is an amazing artist and this is an amazing album that shows such independence - one of the best of 2017 in my opinion! There are so many incredible songs on this album including "Chunky" and "That's What I Like" which will always make you want to belt out the vocals or dance alongside them. Whenever you can, make sure you check out this amazing album as I can promise you that you'll love it!

Tori Kelly - Unbreakable Smile
Last but not least we have one of my most loved artists with a truly unbelievable album. Tori Kelly is such an authentic and underrated artist who has a voice that really needs to be listened to! This record features some amazing vocals and some amazing songs including "Unbreakable Smile", "Talk" and my personal favourite "Expensive". If you are ever looking for a new artist and a great album, Tori Kelly's "Unbreakable Smile" is an album you honestly must listen to as it is one of my favourite albums of this decade, trust me, you do not want to miss out!

So I hope you enjoyed this different blogpost. Like I said at the beginning of the post, please let me know if you would like a sequel.

7 Songs You Should Listen To Pt.11

Hello and welcome to yet another "7 Songs You Should Listen To"! In today's post, I am going to be sharing seven more songs that I think are great in the hope that you will fall in love with them like I did; lets get started...

Rihanna - Love On The Brain
If I had to describe this song in one word, I would say it is a 'needle in a haystack' as I personally think Rihanna's "ANTI" album is really bad excluding this one song. The reason why I like this song is because it features some great vocals by Rihanna which will probably surprise you. Alongside this, the song slightly reminds me of many slow-tempo Motown songs which anyone who reads this blog will know I adore! This song is surprisingly amazing so give it a listen below...

Tori Kelly Ft. Daye Jack - Expensive
Next up we have Tori Kelly who is one of my favourite artists, yet I have never mentioned her in this blog before. I just think that the American singer-songwriter has such a unique and extraordinary voice which needs to be appreciated. Her "Unbreakable Smile" album is one of my all-time favourites and this song in particular is great as it features some insane vocals. The song is also really catchy and will have you singing along so listen to it down below.

Mahalia - Rollercoaster
This next artist is one that is extremely unknown and I only discovered her about two weeks ago when she got recommended to me by Spotify's "Discover Weekly" playlist. The reason why I fell in love with her and this song was because her voice is incredibly unique and innocent. When this is accompanied by catchy lyrics, it makes an absolutely great song that anyone can fall in love with. Like I said before, Mahalia is an unknown artist so it would be great if you could check this and all of  her other songs out after reading this post.

Marian Hill & Lauren Jauregui - Back To Me
The fourth song on this blogpost is one that I only discovered a couple of weeks ago but I have fell in love with. Marian Hill and Lauren Jauregui's (who you may know from Fifth Harmony) vocals match each other's perfectly which makes the song so much better. Alongside this, the vocals are great and the beat to accompany it is incredibly infectious and will definitely make you want to dance. I am in love with Marian Hill's album and I hope that Lauren Jauregui releases solo music in the future as I know it will be amazing!

Us The Duo - I'm Me
This next song was featured on one of my posts last week and I loved it so much that I had to put it in this one! Us The Duo are a band that I am in love with and this song really shows just what they can do. The song is based around Camden's (a soldier who feels pressure because he is gay) story and it has such a strong message, telling everyone not to worry about what others think and focus on how you perceive yourself. This message is then accompanied by some unbelievable vocals and a great instrumental, making it a great song that you need to listen to below...

Anderson .Paak - Put Me Thru
The second-to-last artist in this post is yet another artist who I discovered not so long ago when I found out he would be supporting Bruno Mars on his "24k Magic World Tour". This song, and many others, have made me excited not only for Bruno Mars, but for Anderson .Paak as well. I personally think his voice is very soulful and when he mixes that voice with rap, it sound like something great which I have never heard before. I recommend you listen to all of this 16 minute video of him performing as it is brilliant!

Chance The Rapper Ft. Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz - No Problem
Lastly, we have what I think is my favourite song at the moment, simply because it puts you in such a great mood. I never really listened to Chance The Rapper until a month ago, even though I knew he had such high praise and now that I frequently listen to him, I just think to myself, why didn't I listen to him sooner? His voice is so calming and relaxing, something which is quite hard to do where you're a rapper and his "Colouring Book" EP is honestly insanely good! This song in particular shines though as it is just so 'feel-good' and it makes you want to get up and dance whenever you listen. If you haven't already, you need to check out Chance The Rapper!

So I hoped you enjoyed the eleventh instalment of this post, expect this series to be going on for a long time as it is honestly my favourite to write.

Another 10 Throwback Songs You Should Listen To

Hello and welcome to an extremely long-awaited second post of "10 Throwback Songs You Should Listen To". Today I am going to be guiding you through ten of my favourite all-time songs in the hope that you like them too. I hope that you enjoy...

Stevie Wonder - Superstition
To start off this rather long blogpost, I thought I would mention what is possibly one of the greatest songs of all time; that song is the incredible "Superstition"! I absolutely adore this song as it just makes you want to either sing or dance along every time you listen. Stevie Wonder is one of my musical icons as everything he touches turns to gold. He was a played a key role in the popularisation of Motown music and this song clearly helped. This song is truly unbelievable and if you have somehow never heard it before, you seriously need to now!

Bruno Mars - Somewhere In Brooklyn
Next up have a song that may be unknown to you but this song is easily one of my favourites from the 21st century! I have always been a massive fan of Bruno Mars (I cannot wait until I see him live for the first time in April) and this song from his debut album "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" features a great voice and infectious lyrics. I can guarantee you that if you listened to this song, it would get stuck in your head for hours as it is such a great song. Songs like this one prove that the singles from an album aren't always the best.

Queen - Don't Stop Me Now
The third song in this post is different to every other song in this post as it is by a Rock band which is not really my 'style' of music. Nevertheless, Queen are one of the most famous bands of all time and this song really does them justice, transitioning their 'rocky' style of music into pop. Personally, I think this song will be eternally loved by everyone and I would be shocked if you do not love it. The song is so catchy and infectious and like all of the other songs in this countdown, it is one of my favourites of all time!

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy
"Crazy" may seem unknown to you by I know you will recognise it once you hear it! Anyways, I am a massive fan of this song as I love the hints of Soul and R&B music throughout. The vocals are absolutely insane for a male voice and it was only recently that I realised it was Cee Lo Green, the person behind songs such as "Forget You" and "Bright Lights Bigger City". I also love singing this song as it compliments my voice quite a bit as I have a similar vocal range. Whenever you have the time, please make sure you have a listen as I bet you will recognise this amazing song.

Beyonce - Love On Top
Next up we have my all-time favourite artist with a song from my all-time favourite album. "Love On Top" is such an incredible song as I think Beyonce's vocals are amazing throughout the whole song. The whole of the "4" album is so honest and truthful and I really think this album brought R&B back, especially with this song. The song is so catchy and I am not surprised that this is one of her most popular songs! If you have never heard this Beyonce song before, go and listen to this song (or the whole of the "4" album, my favourite of Beyonce's).

The Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love?
When they first became popular, The Black Eyed Peas were so unique and even today, there is no one remotely similar to them. The band were so edgy and not afraid to do anything which I feel really helped transform today's music industry into the 'wacky' state that it is in today. "Where Is The Love?" is such a powerful song with such a strong message and I really think it helped The Black Eyed Peas become the massive band that they are today as it gave them a voice; it made people listen to them. The chorus will be stuck in your head forever but this is a song that will forever be loved in your memory. You need to listen to this song!

John Legend - Used To Love U
Next up we have John Legend who was featured in the last post of this, just showing how much of a role model he is to me! "Used To Love U" is such an uplifting song that is guaranteed to put you in a good mood which is quite ironic considering it is about a breakup. The gospel choir in the background also make this song stand out as it makes you feel and sense John Legend's emotions alongside the lyrics. This song is also guaranteed to make you want to bop along which I suggest you do when listening to the track below...

Chiddy Bang - Ray Charles
This song is certainly the least known on this post as it is by a relatively unknown artist but it was honestly one of my favourite songs whilst growing up. Chiddy Bang are an American duo who released this song back in 2011 and I immediately fell in love with it. Firstly, the rapping is amazing and catchy as i have memorised every single lyric. Secondly, the chorus is amazing as it completely switches up the song with what seems to be a gospel choir and thirdly, the song is so wacky and funny, being written about Ray Charles and how he manages to cope with his life. You need to give this song a listen as I know you'll love it!

Michael Jackson - P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)
The penultimate song in this post is by one of my favourite artists! Michael Jackson was an incredible artist and I really wish I was old enough to truly experience him whilst he was alive. In particular, his "Thriller" album has to be one of the best albums of all time, making it really hard to pick a song for this countdown! Anyways, "P.Y.T." is such an incredible song as it will always make you sing along to its infectious lyrics. You can tell Michael Jackson was extremely happy whilst writing this as the emotions really show throughout the track, making you feel happiness as well whilst listening to it. You need to listen to this amazing track...

Jennifer Hudson - And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going
Last but by no means least we have the incredible Jennifer Hudson and this rather long-named song from the hit film "Dreamgirls" which is one of my favourite ever films (not just because Beyonce is in it though)! When you listen to this power ballad, you feel the emotions yourself as the song is so captivating with its heartwarming lyrics. The vocals contained within it are also unbelievable and Jennifer Hudson is such an underrated singer who I think you all need to check out whenever you can (just make sure you finish reading this post first though).

So I hope you enjoyed this extremely long post telling you what I thin kare some of the best songs ever! Expect a lot more 'fun' material like this coming to my blog in the future.

Artist Showcase : Us The Duo

Hello and welcome to my monthly "Artist Showcase" post. Today I am going to be talking about band that I am seeing live in March and a band that are truly unique; their name is "Us The Duo".

Michael & Carissa Alvarado are a pop duo who rose to power due to their videos on Vine. The husband-and-wife were thought to be the first people to get a record-deal due to their work on vine and when the social media platform went bust, they ventured onto YouTube. They currently have 1.6 million subscribers and they regularly release music on it. Recently, the duo went on tour with Pentatonix which really saw their popularity rise, although I have been a fan since they first became popular on Vine.

In December last year, Us The Duo released an EP titled "Public Record" and the reason why it was so unique and amazing was because the EP had five songs which were all true stories by members of the public. These stories were then made into songs by the duo and they are honestly unbelievable considering they wrote it about someone else. My favourite song on the EP is called "I'm Me" which is about someone called Camden who is a soldier who happens to be gay. Us The Duo wrote the song to show Camden that he shouldn't care about what other people think because he is who he is. The song has a great message so have a listen below...

Even though their original music is amazing, the thing that Us The Duo are known for most is their covers. If it wasn't for their incredible covers on Vine and YouTube, they might not have the record deal that they have today so they really were momentous when it comes to their career! My favourite covers of their's are the ones where they cover all of the previous year's hit songs in the space of about three minutes. I just find this so creative and original and I think the duo's latest one really deserves some recognition by watching the video below!

Just like MNEK, Us The Duo have already had success to a certain extent but I can't help but feel that they need more! 1.6 million may be a hefty amount of subscribers, but it is nothing in comparison to what they deserve. If you haven't already, please subscribe to their YouTube channel by clicking this link. The couple's voices are insane and original so why can't they have many more subscribers!

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this month's edition of "Artist Showcase", next month I will be covering Avery Wilson who is someone truly incredible so I cannot wait!

My (Musical) Guilty Pleasures

Hello and welcome to a post unlike any other that I have done before. This blogpost is about artists that I really enjoy that I perhaps shouldn't. I must say, these artists are not artists that everyone hates, they are just not artists that 'fit' my music taste. I hope you enjoy.

To start off, I thought I would talk about my favourite band in todays music industry! Little Mix are a four-piece girlband whose fanbase is mostly made up of young girls. However, the reason why I like the four girls is because I genuinely think that they all have brilliant voices and make great songs. I really want to try and break this thought that they are just for children as I genuinely think that they deserve worldwide success.

Little Mix's latest offering "Glory Days" is currently celebrating it's fourth successive week at number one, hopefully meaning that people are starting to feel the same as me towards them. Another reason why the album is at number one is because it contains some genuinely incredible songs. If you saw my last post you will know that I absolutely love the song "Power" and also I am utterly in love with the song "Touch" as it just makes you always want to sing along. I find it really great how you can really see the girlband's evolution throughout the four albums and I can only see it getting better from here. Give these four ladies some support, first by listening to their amazing song "Touch".

From one girlband to another, next up we have The Saturdays who I used to be a massive fan of! The Saturdays were a five-piece girl group who, just like Little Mix, had an audience of young girls, and me of course! The reason why I liked them so much is because at the time they originated, there wasn't really any other girlbands around, making them seem so current and so different. Even though they are now not together, I feel like they really deserve some recognition as they were a genuinely good band.

During their long stint as a girlband, the five girls released seven albums, embarked on four UK arena tours and had a whopping 13 top ten singles. My favourite of their albums had to be "Headlines" as it was one of those albums that I enjoyed every single song that was on it! Another reason why I loved the album so much was because it contained my favourite 'Saturdays' song which is "Higher". I loved the song because it was so very catchy from the very beginning. Also, I really think that the girls show some great vocals in it; some may like to differ. Have a listen to the song below...

My third artist is quite a controversial one which many people say is 'pop-rubbish'; that person is Cher Lloyd. Ever since she first auditioned for The X Factor, I loved Cher Lloyd for her attitude and aggression that she put into every single performance. Cher based her music around young children but it she actually turn out quite successful having a number one single and a top five album. She may not be popular now but I feel like she deserves more musical recognition than she got.

I must admit, her first single "Swagger Jagger" was pretty bad but the rest of her debut album "Sticks & Stones" was great in my opinion. The album debuted at number four on the charts and was fairly popular around the UK but not really with the right audience. My favourite of the tracks on the album has to be "Superhero" which I absolutely love. To me, the song is great as it will always have you singing along and I can promise it will get stuck n your head for ages. Listen to the song below and see what you think.

The last person in this blogpost is someone that I have featured on this blog a number of times but is certainly not like anyone else on this post. Craig David is an artist who has had a lengthy career spanning 17 years but he has not exactly been held in high regard. I must admit, he does not have the best voice but he does have the ability to make any song catchy which is probably the reason why he has had such a long career.

Over the years, Craig David has released six albums which are all amazing. In particular, I like his newest album "Following My Intuition" as it shows how the singer can adapt to todays music after he took a rather long break from music. My favourite song of his however is "7 Days" which was released way back in 2000. The reason why I like the song (which is talked about in my "Best Throwback Songs You Should Listen To" post") is because it is just extremely catchy and will always have you singing along. The song is one of those songs that will get stuck in your head for days! I really feel like Craig David deserves more praise for his creative prowess.

I really hoped you enjoyed my post on these four artists that I love, even if they aren't held in high regard. Let me know if you want me to do any more posts like this in the future.

The Best Of Songs That You Should Listen To

Hello and welcome to what in my eyes is quite a momentous post for this blog as it marks the tenth instalment of my "7 Songs You Should Listen To" series and it fills me with pride to know that I have been consistent enough to never miss my fortnightly upload of this. As this is the tenth instalment, I thought I would select seven of my favourite songs that have featured in this series so far in the hope that you recall them and like them. These songs are in no particular order though as it was hard enough to pick seven songs, let alone ranking them. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

Mura Masa - What If I Go?
If you read my blogpost this time two weeks ago, you will know that this song was one of the songs that I have listened to most this year. The reason for this is that the song is just so catchy and it will make you sing-along no matter what mood you are in. When these catchy lyrics are accompanied by a catchy beat that will make you want to dance, it really shows just how great the song is! Unfortunately, this song isn't as 'well-known' as the others on this chart so I would really appreciate it if you gave it some love, starting off by listening to it below...

Alessia Cara - How Far I'll Go
Unlike some of the other artists in this blog, I had a lot of Alessia Cara songs to choose from to put in this post; I went with "How Far I'll Go" because the song is so uplifting and catchy, a factor which I think most songs need! Also, it is quite surprising that it comes from a Disney movie as the song, along with the rest of the soundtrack, are extremely unique and constructed ever so well. However, saying that, Moana is one of my favourite Disney films in a while (you all need to check it out). Anyways, make sure you have a listen to this amazing song whenever you can!

Louisa Johnson - So Good
When I put this song in my countdown (on the day it was released), I had absolutely no idea that the track would have the amount of success that it would have, with the song still being in the top 20 after 9 weeks in the charts! I am so happy that the song has had it's colossal success though as her vocals are truly incredible in the song (and they sound exactly the same live)! The song is also a really catchy one and it will have you singing along for ages and ages, all more the reason you should have a listen down below...

Kehlani - Did I
Kehlani is one of those artists that has such a distinctive voice that you can recognise it anywhere, something that really does her music justice. "Did I" literally just missed out on my "Top Songs Of 2016" post but I have been loving this song since the beginning of that controversial year. I love how the singing flows into the rapping so fluently and how the chorus will get stuck in your head for days on end! This song is one that you will almost definitely love as it is so different to anything out there today; it deserves a listen! (disclaimer: the video below is a shortened, 1 minute 30 video as it is the only one I could attach)

Frank Ocean - Self Control
I had to pick one of Frank Ocean's songs to be in this post as my love for him extended so much this year after the release of his album "Blonde"! I decided to choose "Self Control" as the song just makes you feel so chilled-out and relaxed with it's smooth melody and infectious lyrics. The song (and the album) are just so different to anything other music out there in the fact it literally captivates you, completely taking your problems away and making you feel tranquil. The only problem is you will not be able to listen to the original on this blog but Vince Kidd's rework of the song is also amazing.

Little Mix - Power
Just like Frank Ocean, I had to pick one of Little Mix's songs to be in this post as I personally think that their album "Glory Days" is their best album yet, breaking records all around the world. I decided to go with the song "Power" as it is my favourite track on the album, providing listeners with incredible vocals from all four girls that anyone in their right mind would want to sing along to. Also, the accompanying beat is great, making you want to get up and dance at anytime that you are listening; I think this track really deserves a listen whenever.

Childish Gambino - 3005
Last but certainly not least we have Childish Gambino who is probably my favourite rapper in today's music industry! The reason why I love him so much is because he knows how to manipulate his voice in order to make the song sound better; you can tell this as he switches from rap to singing so smoothly. Anyways, "3005" is possibly one of my favourite songs ever! The reason for that is because it is so relaxing for a 'rap song' and his singing vocals are also incredible. The track is one of those tracks that you can just memorise all of the words to rather quickly as it is so catchy. This song deserves so much more recognition than it already has so please give it a listen down below, sadly, I can only show one minute of this song though, just like "Did I" as the YouTube do not own the rights to the song.

So I hope you enjoyed this post showing you the my favourite songs of this series so far. This is such a fun post to write so expect many more in the future.

A New Year, A New Focus

2016 was a terrible year, the worst I have ever experienced. I was struck with some of the worst news I could have ever been given but I did also have some good parts. Firstly, I created this blog; something which I could not live with out as I feel so free by expressing myself. Secondly, I went to several concerts, including Beyonce's Formation World Tour, one of the best concerts I have ever been to and finally, I got back into singing, something which I absolutely adore and want to continue with.

The reason why I started this blogpost so abruptly without a proper intro was because I wanted to get 2016 out of the way. Hopefully 2017 will be a great year, filled with positivity and happiness because I truly need it. Although there is a massive void in my life, I need to learn not to always focus on that (hence the blogpost name "A New Focus"). This year, I am going to focus on positivity, changing those bad things in my life and making so many good things to help benefit my future.

Firstly, I am going to seriously focus on my education! That will probably mean non-stop revising but you don't get to where you want to be by doing nothing so I am going to try my hardest. Although I am not doing bad at school, I am not getting some of the predicted grades that I want so I am gonna try my hardest to get them. Sadly, this could result in some blogposts not going up on time but I hope you all understand that I have to put my education first (I will try and make this blogposts as consistent as possible though).

Another thing I am going to really focus on this year is my music as I have such admiration for the topic and I have been told that I have talent, even if I may not always agree. At the beginning of last month, I sang in front of several students and parents at my school and I got praise from everyone which felt surreal and amazing! I also performed the song for my music assessment which was fifteen percent of my music GCSE; somehow I managed to get an A* which is unbelievable! I have mentioned before that I have big dreams of going to the BRIT School so hopefully this could be my ticket in there, if I focus and do as much as I can this year of course.

The last thing that I want to focus on this year is simply enjoying myself. I am lucky enough to have some great experiences coming up so I have no reason to not enjoy myself. I know I have had a rocky year last year but at the end of the day, time is the greatest healer so I have just got to learn to cope with it and enjoy my events. In February, I am going to Disneyland which I cannot wait for as I have dreamed about going there since I can remember; it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience and it will be a (much-needed) break for me. As you could probably tell, I also have a whole load of concerts coming up this year with me seeing amazing artists such as Little Mix, Us The Duo, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes and my favourite of all, Frank Ocean. I think I am so excited for Frank Ocean as he rarely does gigs in the UK so it will be such a unique and original atmosphere. If these things don't make me start enjoying life, I don't really know what will!

So I hope you enjoyed the first post of 2017, informing you on what I plan to do this year. If any of you readers are planning do do something different this year, let me know on any of my social media (the usernames are in the sidebar to your right). This year will have some amazing blogposts so get excited!
